Privacy Policy

Who we are

IPVault.pro is a service of UpCapital Global FZCO("we", "us"), the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy, or to exercise your rights, at privacy@ipvault.pro.

The short version

The heavy lifting on your document happens on your own device. We split your work into small pieces, hide names and secrets, and only ever send small masked pieces to AI models. Your whole document, your names, and your "code book" never leave your machine (except in Full Context mode, which you opt into). We never use your work to train any AI, ever.

What we collect

• Account details: your email, name, optional company, and a one-way hashed password.
• Project records: the projects you create and their settings (privacy level, goals, status), plus the reassembled result only if you choose to save it to your vault.
• Payment records: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data needed to keep the service running and secure.

Why we're allowed to use it (lawful basis)

• To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract).
• Legitimate interests such as keeping the service secure and preventing abuse.
• Your consent, where we ask for it (for example, Full Context mode, which you tick to confirm).

Who processes the pieces (sub-processors)

To do the AI work, small masked pieces of your document are sent to independent AI providers. We may use: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), xAI (Grok), Mistral, Groq, and Google (Gemini). Our infrastructure providers are Neon (database) and Vercel (hosting); Stripe handles payments and Resend handles our email. Each provider only ever receives small, masked pieces, never your whole work. We cannot control what a third-party AI provider does with a piece once it receives it, which is exactly why we send so little.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and projects until you delete them. You can delete a single project at any time, export all your data, or delete your entire account from your account page, at which point we permanently erase everything we hold about you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can:

• Access and export your data (there is a one-click "Download my data" button on your account page).
• Correct your details, or rename and edit your projects.
• Erase your account and all data ("Delete my account" on your account page).
• Restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. If you need your work to stay with North-American providers only, contact us about our data-region options.

Cookies

We use a single necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. That is the only cookie the service needs to work.

The limits, honestly

IPVault is a platform whose job is to distribute masked pieces of your work across independent AI models and put the result back together on your device. We are not responsible for what an outside AI provider does with a piece it receives, we accept no liability for how third parties handle those pieces, and we cannot guarantee that your work stays completely private. Use of the service is at your own risk.
